Veda King Blanchard loves helping people find their way out of pain and into a balanced way of being. As she puts it “supporting people in living pain-free, joyful lives.” She specializes in blending massage, movement, and mindfulness techniques for therapeutic outcomes. Postural imbalances; the connections between physical and emotional holding patterns; and recent or long-held pain patterns are all areas of focus for her.
Generally she has a firm touch, which she delivers in a conscientious manner that doesn’t feel aggressive to the body. She zooms out to take a whole-person approach blending many techniques pulling from Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Kinesiology, Energy Work, Breath Work, and Lymphatic Drainage.
Veda also loves teaching- both self-care techniques for folks to use at home and therapeutic massage classes for other massage therapists. She often works with folks who have complex health conditions and is comfortable thinking creatively to help problem-solve with her clients.
