James Arbuckle is a versatile therapist with almost 25 years experience in the field and therefore has worked with a broad variety of clients and their goals. In particular, James enjoys helping modern professionals who spend too much time at their work stations. He’s great at making a therapeutic massage feel relaxing. As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, he also specializes in Lymphatic Massage and has the training to work with complex needs including post-op, post-cancer, and lymphedema care.
With massage he tends towards a moderate pressure and pacing that is rhythmic and thorough. His sessions blend many styles together including Lymphatic Massage, Swedish, Trigger Point, NMT, Stretching, Myofascial, and Joint Mobilization. He also has special training in Thai Massage and Reflexology.
One of his philosiphies of massage is “less pain more gain.” He pulls from many techniques that allow him to achieve a deep tissue massage without the work feeling agressive.
