Nina helps people develop their mental and physical wellness through individual and group yoga. She helps people find calm and grounding through yoga for stress and anxiety. Her gentle yet thorough instruction, and keen eye for attention, help people grow their practice and find the balance between relaxing and striving.
Although she was first exposed to yoga in high school, it was not until a few years out of college that Nina began to take on a more regular practice. In 2014 she discovered the powerful effects of meditation while attending a 10-day silent course in Vipassana meditation. In 2018, Nina completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaWorks, a Vinyasa-based school that teaches a method balancing precise instruction, detailed alignment, breath and fluid movement.
When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, Nina takes care of the office at Nimbus. She is also a member of the Richmond Symphony Chorus, likes to be outside, and enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog.
